This course is an introduction to the concepts, topics, and methods of general biology. The first part of the course is designed to familiarize the student with the concepts and skills necessary to carry out a scientific investigation and how to correctly report the results obtained in an investigation. The second part discusses and familiarizes the student with cells, their cellular components and the basic processes that they carry out for their optimal functioning. The third part discusses the processes carried out by the cell that affect the complete development of the living being and what are the processes involved in the perpetuation of life.
