The Academic Senate, in its regular meeting held on November 21, 2024, after considering the report of the Committee on University Affairs, amended the Guidelines for the Professional Development Plan for Faculty Members of the University of Puerto Rico at Bayamón. This certification establishes that the Dean of Academic Affairs must offer an orientation activity at the beginning of each semester , which will be mandatory for new faculty members. This orientation will cover the institution's Mission, Vision, and characteristics, information on administrative and academic procedures, and the services available within the institution. This activity is part of the semester cycle or set of activities that comprise the Professional Development Plan for an academic semester. Your participation in these activities will be documented in your personnel file.
